Entrega de diplomas/ Awarding of diplomas

Se les ha hecho entrega de un diploma a cada niño/a del colegio CEIP Alcaldesa Amparo Torres de Betancuria, por haber participado con el PEC de Betancuria realizando una series de talleres con motivo de La Campaña del Día del Padre.

Agradecerles enormemente su participación y comunicarles que seguiremos contando con su colaboración para futuras actividades.

Students of school CEIP Alcaldesa Amparo Torres have been awarded with a diploma, for engaging with the PEC Betancuria in their workshops on the occasion of Father´s Day Campaign.

We would like to thank them and tell them that we hope to have their participation future activities and campaigns.

Taller de Sensibilización Medioambiental/Environmental Awareness Workshop

Hemos realizado con los alumnos/as del CEIP Alcaldesa Amparo Torres, un taller de sensibilización medioambiental, cuya finalidad era conocer más de cerca un tipo de planta, concretamente el Hibisco. Se desarrolló una explicación con las características principales de esta vistosa planta, a todos alumnos/as que posteriormente plantaron algunos ejemplares en los jardines del colegio.

Les agradecemos al director, a los profesores/as y a los alumnos/as por haber participado con el PEC de Betancuria realizando las actividades.

We have an Environmental Awareness Workshop done with students of CEIP Alcaldesa Amparo Torres, whose purpose was to learn more about a specific type to plant, The Hibisco. An explanation was developed with the main features of this beautiful plant to all students, that later planted some specimens in the gardens of the school.

We thank the headmaster, teachers and the students for then involvement with the PEC Betancuria in the different activities.

El día del Padre en Betancuria/ The father's Day

Este viernes 16, a  las 17:00 horas, hemos realizado una serie de actividades con motivo del Día del Padre, pidiendo colaboración en algunos comercios de Betancuria, tanto para realizar una degustación, como para exponer las pintaderas de barro elaboradas por los/as niños/as en los colegios, para que los papás fueran a buscarlas al comercio asignado.

Además, agradecerle a la parranda "Dos + Uno", que  animó la Zona Comercial, al Excmo. Ayuntamiento de Betancuria por colaborar en esta campaña, al Excmo. Cabildo de Fuerteventura por la muestra de los juegos tradicionales que realizaron con los visitantes, y a La Mancomunidad Centro-Sur de Fuerteventura  por estar siempre dispuestos a ayudarnos en todo. 

On Friday 16th, at 17:00h, we have performed some  activities for Father's  Day campaign, we have  asked  for the help of some shops of Betancuria, for two things, to offer products to make a food tasting and to expose the “clay pintaderas” created by  children  in school, so that parents could go to the specific  store to pick it up.

We also want to  thank the folkloric musical band "Dos + Uno" which encouraged the Commercial Zone, the City Town of Betancuria for collaborating in this campaign, the  Cabildo of Fuerteventura for the exhibition of Canarian Traditional Games where  visitors could participate and finally to The Mancomunidad Centro-Sur of Fuerteventura for  being always willing to help us in everything.

Manualidades en el colegio de Betancuria

Este Martes 13 de Marzo, hemos realizado unas manualidades junto a los niños y niñas del colegio de Betancuria.

Last Tuesday, 13th of March, we have made hand crafts with the children of the school of Betancuria.

Cada niño/a ha realizado una pintadera de barro, para hacerle un detalle para su papá.

Each child has made a Canarian pintadera of chay to give it as a present for theis daddies.

Estos detalles se expondrán en distintos souvenirs de Betancuria el viernes 16 de Marzo por la tarde, y luego sus papás podrán recoger ese detalle en esos establecimientos. 

These handcrafts will be set at the different souvenir stores of Betancuria on Friday afternoon 16th of March, and then, their parents can pick up the present in these stores and shops. 

Gracias a todos los niños y niñas del colegio de Betancuria por participar con nosotros en esta campaña, y a los profesores del mismo.

Nos vemos mañana por la tarde en las actividades que realizaremos en la plaza de Betancuria a partir de las 17:00 horas.
